This is the first time we are doing a video like this, in which we share some photography related tips from how to get ready for photoshoots to more technical things like how to achieve certain looks, etc etc.
For this video, I thought we’d focus on a problem that many of my clients have faced when they come to my studio to get their portraits taken which is MAKEUP!
Many of my clients tend to want to do makeup themselves, but may not do it too often, so aren’t 100% sure how to do it right.
So, to help us out, I invited a good friend of mine down to my studio for a chat recently. She is a professional Makeup Artist from Beautywithoutfilter, and she was able to share some very useful tips on how to you can better prepare yourself just before your portrait shoot.
I’m sure some of you will find at least a few of these tips helpful, whether you are someone going for your next portrait shoot or a photographer starting out in portrait photography but ultimately, I still recommend you to engage a professional like Atiqah to help with hair & makeup as it saves a lot of the hassle, and of course they have the experience and would know what looks good on you!
Do support Atiqah by following her socials (Instagram: @beautywithoutfilter, Facebook: Beauty without Filter)
Lastly, if this is something you like, do let us know what else you’d want us to share with you in our next video by commenting down below, and thank you for watching!
P.S. A big shoutout to the following brands for their support!
